NEWBEC: The Wisdom & Prophetic Books

So sorry for the lack of posts recently; everyone's been busy. Oh well. Here's the two lastest NEWBECs - this time detailing the Historical, Wisdom and Prophetic books.

NEWBEC: The Historical Books

This week's NEWBEC features a summary of the four historical books - the books of

1. Joshua
2. Judges
3. Ruth
4. and Samuel 1 & 2

Usually, in prayer and in Bible Study both, the more so-called 'well-known' parts of the Bible - the Gospels, the Psalms, Isaiah - these books are frequently quoted and applied in the pursuit of Christian and Catholic knowledge. It would be good, however, to read the other less-applied parts of the Bible, as every part of it is perfect and well worth your time.

NEWBEC: The Pentatuech

For the first week of Lent, it is somewhat appropriate that we explore the Bible even further, to further deepen our roots in the Catholic faith. Rock on, people!
